    1. Order Acceptance: All orders accepted by Easy Hospital Equipment are subject to the following General Terms and Conditions of Sale. Customers’ terms of purchase differing from these will be valid only if expressly confirmed by us in writing.

    2. Pricing: Prices are net and Inclusive of VAT. They do not include delivery charges.

    3. Delivery Timeframes: Delivery of goods is subject to stock availability. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

      • Air Parcel Post: 2-3 Days

      • Consolidated Airfreight: 1-2 Days (Priority Airfreight incurs additional charges.)

    4. Large Consignments and Equipment: Large consignments and equipment are delivered free to ground floor level. Additional charges apply for extra requirements. Installation and commissioning costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, with quotations available upon request.

    5. Payment Terms:

      • Trade discounts on invoices are forfeited if payment is not received within 2 days.

      • Orders on overdue accounts will not delivered until all amounts are settled, and credit facilities may be withdrawn for persistent overdue accounts.

    6. International orders: For these cases, 20% of the total price is payable upon order placement, with the balance due before delivery or collection.

    7. Ownership: All goods remain the property of Easy Hospital Equipment  until the purchase price and all associated costs are paid in full.

    8. Order Cancellation:

      • Special orders (local or imported) cannot be cancelled.

      • Other confirmed orders require our written consent for cancellation.

    9. Quotations: Valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated in writing. Exchange rate fluctuations and suppliers’ price lists may impact the final price.

    10. VAT: Quoted prices include VAT unless specified in writing.

    11. Exchange Rate: Selling prices for imported items are based on the exchange rate in our quotations. Variations between this rate and the actual paid rate are the purchaser’s responsibility (debit or credit). Forward Cover can be arranged for a firm Rand price.

    12. Delivery Liability: While we aim for prompt delivery, we are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery or non-delivery.

    13. Part-Deliveries: If the purchaser does not accept part-deliveries, this must be specified in the order.

    14. Goods Return: Goods returned for credit require prior written approval. A 20% handling fee applies. Please see our return policy page for more info.


WARRANTY

We maintain the highest standards for our goods and services, guaranteeing products on behalf of our overseas principals for up to 12 months from the invoice date (unless otherwise stated in writing). This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship, subject to the following conditions:

  1.  

    1. Claims: All claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of receiving the goods.

    2. Faulty Goods: Items proven to be defective prior to delivery due to inadequate material or poor workmanship will be repaired or replaced at our discretion and expense. Adequate time is required for alterations or replacements.

    3. Liability: Our liability for faulty goods does not extend to wear and tear or damage resulting from faulty handling, excessive strain, unsuitable service conditions, improper use, or other factors beyond our control.

    4. Void Warranty: Alterations or repairs carried out by the purchaser or third parties without our prior written consent render the warranty null and void.

    5. Limited Liability: Our liability is limited to our goods or parts and does not cover damages to plant machinery or other equipment or any consequential loss.

    6. Warranty Cards and Manuals: Where applicable, warranty cards and instruction manuals are supplied with delivered goods.

    7. Claims Responsibility: Easy Hospital Equipment will not accept claims for shortages or breakages if the purchaser has accepted receipt of goods without checking in writing.
